Infinite Campus: Add staff to a class

Since Warren County leverages data within Infinite Campus to roster most instructional applications, granting access to classes or curriculum within an instructional application is within the reach of a school's administration without needing to submit a Mojo ticket.

As such, most issues involving access (e.g., classes or students not appearing within an instructional application) to instructional applications can be resolved by adding a staff member to a class as an additional teacher. This addition could be giving a SPED teacher access to a homeroom, giving an ML teacher access to an ELA class, or giving a homeroom teacher access to a Math section.

To add a staff member to a class:

  1. In Infinite Campus, select Course/Section in the Search panel's dropdown menu, then search for and select the class in question. In this example, we are searching for a fourth grade math class in order to add a homeroom teacher to this Math rotation's section.
  2. On the right sidebar, select Section Staff History to open this section's staff.
  3. Once the Section Staff History panel is open, click New Teacher, then select the new teacher from the Name dropdown menu and set the start date. If you do not see the teacher in the list, you may need to add this teacher to your school. Alternatively, you may also add a new Primary Teacher or Section Staff in this panel.
  4. When finished, click Save and repeat this process for any other teachers who need access.

Once our system synchronizes Infinite Campus with our instructional applications, any teacher(s) added to this section will receive access to this class.
